Drop in the Bucket- YUM

With the weather so horribly hot and heavy . . . . . our appetites take a sharp decline. We just aren't very hungry. Also the thought of turning on the oven to bake something makes us all sweat just thinking on it. So it's been pared down meals here. Lots of veggies from the garden (and other's garden produce that they share).
This is also a good time for ice cream.
One of my favorite's is a Drop-in-the-Bucket. The first time I had one was at a wonderful little ice cream parlor about a half hour drive away in a very tiny little village. Here's how you make one:
Start by putting a couple of good sized dollops of chocolate pudding in the bottom of your ice cream bowl. Add chocolate ice cream and top with whip cream and a cherry (to be truly decadent- use chocolate whip cream). And Voila!
That's it! It's so easy and so delicious.
