MPM: What's Cookin' This Week
Note: This week the children will be at VBS each night. Our VBS provides dinner for the children. So Mr. Steady and I will be dining just the 2 of us!Produce popping up in the garden and on the menu this week: lettuce, tomatoes (for salads), potatoes.
Monday
B: French Toast and blueberries
L: Diner Lunch- order from the “Leftover Menu”
D: DLX chicken sandwiches, chips and dip, salad
Dessert: blueberries and cream
Daily Cost: $4.32
Tuesday
B: Vanilla yogurt with fresh blueberries
L: Grilled cheese, chips, pickle spears
D: Grilled steak, skillet potatoes & salad
Dessert: none
Daily Cost: $6.95
Wednesday
B: Choice: yogurt or cereal
L: Beef-a-roni and toast points
D: Crescent chicken squares and tossed salad
Dessert: Ice Cream Sandwiches
Daily Cost: $8.25
Thursday
B: Toad in a hole
L: Picnic Style: Sandwiches, crackers/chips, pickle spears, cheese cubes, pudding
D: BBQ ham, baked potatoes (on grill), green beans
Dessert: none
Daily Cost: $6.77
Friday
B: Yogurt w/granola and cinnamon toast
L: Hot-diggity dogs, corn chips, cheese cubes
D: Loaded baked potatoes and side salad
(potatoes & cut up ham from Thurs. nite)
Dessert: Choco-banana milk shakes
Daily Cost: $4.17
Saturday
B: Daddy cook [eggs, bacon, toast]
L: Leftover smorgasbord
D: Nephew’s bday party w/dinner!
Daily Cost: $2.66
Sunday
B: Cocoa Wheats, toast
L: Church Picnic: Bringing Triple Fudge Brownies & Mr. Steady’s Cucumbers
D: @ my parents

My Husband (DH)-Mr. Steady
My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.
DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.
DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.
DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
