Zuccini bread and grapes... my kids would be saying they were starving with only that. Do your kids eat only a little naturally? I hate to limit their breakfast, when it is supposed to be so important, but it is hard making sure they have enough to eat!

WOF?

You're going to the Women of Faith? So am I! Maybe, just maybe we'll "run" into each other somewhere. That's a BIG maybe though. I tried to find someone last year and I did finally find her but it took me about 6 times running to the very top of the bleachers to do so (I knew where she was sitting.) Boy, was I tired! Have fun there!
Blessings,
Miki

I'm not sure what you mean by "a little naturally" . . . . And the zucchini bread is sliced thick- like a cake slice- with a smear of butter and a small bowl of grapes.
My children eat pretty healthy portions at breakfast (with the exception of Mr. Conductor- he is not a big breakfast eater- more of a grazer).
In the not so distant past, we use to eat cold cereal every day and then we came to the realization that the kids were always hungry about an hour or so later so we started making more "stick to your ribs" breakfasts. When we have French toast the girls will each usually eat 2 slices. Waffles- they'll eat 3/4 to one whole waffle (the large circle waffles). When we have yogurt for breakfast it's usually approx. 1 cup of yogurt.
We may not eat totally naturally but I know we eat much much better than we use to. The kids still enjoy boxed cereal so we have that once a week to satisfy their craving for it. When the weather turns cooler we will be eating a lot of oatmeal with "add ins".
I don't limit them on how much they can eat at breakfast- they eat until they are full. With that said- I do limit the boxed cereal to one bowl- if they are still hungry we have plenty of fresh fruit, applesauce and toast.
Not sure if I answered your question or not . . . .
Let me know . . . . .

Great menu, everything looks wonderful.

I love that you added the price for each meal, that's really neat :)

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
