What have I gotten myself into?
Whew. What a week.I've got oodles upon oodles of boxes of thing-a-ma-bobs and whats-its all priced
The girls are planning a lemonade stand (complete with snack mix-- to help make you thirsty **wink**). Nana is helping out on that end with a banner and color-coordinating display. If I can get my camera to cooperate for a smidge I plan on taking some shots of the young entrepreneurs.

I'm babysitting my nephew in the morning but the whole rest of the day will be work, work, work for the sale.
I need to get to the village office to purchase our yard sale permit (you have to have one in town- it's only a $1). Don't want to be caught without it.
The beetles attacked our gardens last night- so late last night (after the Tigers lost boo hoo) Mr. Steady was out spraying the garden with his super secret bug-be-gone spray. [Really I have no idea what he uses I just know it's safe and the bugs die or leave.]
My mom is doing the sale with me- so she and my dad will be hauling over all her "stuff" tomorrow nite. I really want to find the time to squeeze in making scones or Little Boy Blue cake for breakfast Friday morning . . . . I've been thinking it would be a nice surprise for my mama-- who is just always doing such nice things for me. Don't know when I'd get to it and I promised Mr. Steady I would stop stressing on it so much.
I'm also digging up some of my thyme, oregano and apple mint to pot up and sell at the sale. Might as well see if we can get some $$$ for it before I just begin offering to give it away for free. Mr. Steady suggested I cut and bundle up some of our lettuce too and see if we can't make a bit of change off of our bumper crop.

My Husband (DH)-Mr. Steady
My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.
DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.
DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.
DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
