Blessed a thousand times over

 This just so happens to be my 1000^th post.
As I look back on my 18+ months of blogging I think to myself- “man, I blog as much as I talk” (i.e. a lot). LOL
As to the quote- It’s been often in the back of my mind lately.  I have always known that I am a work in progress- that God is refining me—but I must say that it seems He has been speaking more loudly to my heart or else I am finally learning to listen lately.
I know that all my experiences shape me yet I totally agree with Ms. Keller that it is the trial and suffering that strengthens most. When I am on full stretch for God- with nothing of my own to count on, is when my eyes are most open to His miracles. I shouldn’t be continually amazed at how the Lord leads and guides me- but I am. And with the amazement comes overwhelming praise and joy that He would lead me on.
Life is not easy but it is most certainly blessed.

With hindsight, I learned that the rough times have always been my best times of faith growth!
