Home Sweet Simple Home

It came!

Lookie! Lookie!
Yesterday our Sonlight Curriculum for 2007 arrived! We just get wildly excited here when that box arrives! Of course, we opened it right away.
Mr. Conductor climbed in the box as soon as it was emptied and asked to be a handed a book. Maiden grabbed a stack of books and started flipping and Sassafras busied herself doing the same.

I admit that after I sent the girls upstairs for quiet time and laid Mr. Conductor down for his nap- I read two of the books. Later on, while tucking everyone in at bedtime, I found 2 of our new books in the girls’ bedroom and one on in my bedroom (from when Maiden was in there reading during quiet time). This morning, I found two more on the living room coffee table. I decided I had better put them all back in the box and set them aside until we get the new bookcase to ensure that they would all stay together and be ready for school in the fall.

Sonlight sounds like a really great curriculum. We love to read here...so it would be right up our alley.

We too have made our 2007 decisons...and I am feeling GREAT!! Now we can relax, finish up this year and sail SMOOTHLY into the next level!!

Glad your kids are so excited too!!

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
