Great Tip

In my blog reading here at HSB2 I just found a wonderful interesting tip for night time coughing.
Rub Vicks Vapor Rub on the feet and then cover with socks- the coughing will stop!
I will definitely be doing this the next time one of the kids develops a coughing fit.

Hat Tip to Titus 2 Woman! Thanks a bunch!

That is a good Idea. I have heard of doing that on your neck but not your feet. I will have to try that.

My dh has told me that many times. His mom used to do it to them when he was little, it works!

My MIL has told me this for years.... I just haven't tried it!! My DH thinks his mom comes up with crazy ideas! LOL! I will try it next time one of us has a cold (she says it is great for colds)!!!

I will have to try to remember that. I wonder if Euculyptus oil (mixed with a carrier oil) would do the same thing. I think I still have Vic's though.

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
