My morning prayer

Oh, Lord I need your help. I am so frustrated and worn down by different ministries. I’m suffering from the bummer feelings of having someone shoot holes in every one of my ideas/suggestions. This person use to be great one to bounce ideas off of and get feedback from but all I’ve gotten lately is negativity.
Lord, I’m feeling close to burn-out again. I need clarity, please. I need to know if it is YOU wanting me involved in all these different ministries or if others and my need to feel significant are the only reasons I’m still doing some of them.

Lord, I’m really struggling with the make-everyone-happy and/or keep-everyone-happy syndrome. It’s driving me crazy and burdening my heart. Other people’s negative attitudes are affecting me. At times I find myself wanting to and then often actually joining the gripe fests and at other times I just want to tell them off, so to speak. I know neither one is the answer and often it is just best to keep my mouth shut. I am trying Lord, but I believe I am in need of your supernatural power to keep it shut.

Help me with this frustration, keep me from burn-out and please, Lord, bring me the clarity I need. Please keep this from affecting me at home and daily remind me that my husband and children take priority over all the other ministries out there.

Lord, help me to release the frustration and leave it at your feet. Bring back into me the bubbling joy that is usually found here in me. Restore my contentment and lead me in right thinking.

And I know it begs repeating . . . . . continue to help me keep my mouth shut and only speak what you would desire for me to say- period.

As always Lord, let Your will be done in my life and if my will is not in accordance with Yours then lead me back Lord, quickly.                        AMEN.
