The Countdown ContinuesAh, it’s the next installment of 101 Things I Love About My Husband. To see the previous entry click here. 11. I love the back massages that he gives me- even though I think he works longer, harder days than I do. 12. I love that he *gives* me the better/newer/cooler car to drive. 13. I love the SHMILY notes he leaves for me everywhere. [Note: He likes to date some of them so he can tell how long it’s been hidden before I find it. It’s like delayed love notes!] 14. I love it when he brings me home my favorite candy bar and places it somewhere I will see it. 15. I love that sometimes he’ll stop by the side of the road and pick me a bouquet of wildflowers as a surprise. 16. I love it when he surprises me with my very own spa bubble bath- complete with fluffy towel and iced drink. [And then he takes the kiddos far, far away- so they don’t *pop* in to check on me.] 17. I love that he doesn’t expect me to sit and watch his war movies with him yet he’ll fidget thru a chick flick for me. 18. I love that he never gets after me or twinges when my laugh is too loud but grins instead. 19. I love it when I catch him weeding my garden when he knows I can’t get to it right away. 20. I absolutely love his calming influence. He just has a way about him of setting the tone to a much more even keel- whereas I live in hyper-freak-out land sometimes. So the saga continues. I smile as I write this and watch my dearest outside with the kiddos doing yard work. Why aren’t I out there? Because dear hubby knew I needed a mommy time-out from those 3 rapscallions. God is so good to me!!! Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 1100 of 1493 } { Next Page } |
