Gearing up for gardening...at last

Gardening season is almost upon us, up here in the northern mountain regions of Pennsylvania. Yesterday we got the side and back gardens plowed (mud is here ), and over the past few days I started my indoor seeds...tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, broccoli, pumpkins, squashes, cucumbers, and the like. I am watching my rhubarb daily, anxiously waiting for the first cuttings. The asparagus needs to be planted and so do the snow peas and potatoes. I need to assess my herb bed to see what herbs I would like to add this year also.
