-Genesis 2:18,21-22 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him...And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam...and he took one of his ribs...And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.-1 Corinthians 11:8-9 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
-Proverbs 12:4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband. -These 3 Bible versed alone are self explanatory.
This is the 3 main verses that I think of when it comes to submissiveness. -I've been reading Created To Be His Help Meet Written by Debi Pearl...There also is a workbook companion that I have found very helpful with this study.
-I would recommend this set to any woman..young, old, married or single. I feel it has wonderful Biblical refences and wonderful insight into why women were created. I understand that not everyone agrees with this sort of life for a woman however, to me it is not a matter of opinion but a matter of scriptual fact.

I cant begin to tell you what a treasure it is to have the Created To Be His Help Meet is to me, even though I Have only read through the first chapter, believe me I was tempted to devor the whole thing, but realized I needed to soak in all that she has written in order to better understand the reasoning and how I too can apply the Lords will for Me as my husbands Help meet. That first chapter as short as it was, had me bawling already, and I am not a crier, so the words and then the scripture references and me looking them up literally moved me. I know the Lord has a plan. I look forward to learning more as I read and discern and soak up the scripture. I am glad to see other HSB2 encourage this book.
