"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your
souls.]
Matthew 11:28
I absolutely love tea time. Pleasant memories of friendships and a hot pot of tea. A beautifully laid table set with the finest china and
silverware. Just like Heavens' table when we go home. All the finest linens and dinnerware. I also love spending time with the Lord, meditating on
His precious words. A time to quietly sit and praise Him and thank Him for all He has done. It is a great time when the harshness of the day still
lingers and our
souls are in much need of refreshing, it is during those times that we must learn to turn it all over to the Lord.
Just like with friends, I love tea time with my precious Jesus, the lover of my soul. It is in those times I hear Him whisper softly in my ear
saying,
"sit back my daughter, sip on my tea (the word), it is sweetened with milk and honey.
Remember, no matter what this day holds my child, I haven't gone anywhere, daddy is holding your hand."

Thursday, August 14, 2008~ Tea~na's Priceless Treasures ~ Tuesday's Tea Time Ladies ~
Week 1/Day 3 Thursday
"Meditate on God's Word"
Read: Proverbs 31:10-11, Psalms 119:9-11, 15-16
Guided Prayer: "Dear Lord, it's not easy to keep my way pure in the midst of an increasingly corrupt world.... I'm hard pressed to find clothing that honors you and protects the purity of the men around me. The only answer is living according to the principles set forth in your Word, not the standards in this world. Today, I am seeking with all my heart. Holy Spirit, empower me to walk in obedience, not straying from your commmands. Help me as I hide Your Word in my heart, so I won't stumble into sin. Train me to do as Jesus did: use the Word of God as a weapon against temptation. Teach me the art of meditation. There is so much mumbo jumbo and distortion in the world, it can be intimidating. But you are my teacher, so teach me your way of meditation. Right now, I renew my commitment to: I will not neglect your Word, but will take delight in it. Amen"
Donna Partow
Personal ~
"We must be very serious about our goal to become a capable, dignified, virtuous woman of noble character. In order to accomplish this we must do much more than casually read the bible. We have to meditate on it so it seeps deep into the fiber of our being."
If we want to be strong women, we meust get the word deep inside and stand strong on that word, inlike Eve who fell for ever line the serpent spit out. Let us not be that weak women. Let us know the voice of our God and His word.
In order to stand firm and fight the enemies attacks we must mediatate and memorize scripture so that it is at the end of our lips, just like a sword ready to battle. The bible says: "Out of the overflow of our hearts the mouth speaks." (Matt 12:34)
That is so much of why we meditate on His Word, to get it deep into our hearts, so that it not only transforms our minds, but the way wee live and battle. Remember when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness? (Matt. 4:1-11), Jesus always responded with confidence and assurance. Why? because He knew the Word of His Father. He knew exactly what the Word said and He used it as His weapon to fight the devil.
When Satan comes to us with a lie, we need to say NO!, it is written: ....the Word of God says..... use it as your most deadliest weapon. In (James 4: 7)The bible says.. "So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you." Many people are quick to resist the devil, but this is two fold here. We must 1st Submit, or be subject to God. Without that the devil is not going anywhere. Satan knows a true disciple froma fake one.
Remember satan is the father of lies. Jesus said: "You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32) Memorizing scripture also helps to keep your thoughts pure. When we fill our minds up with the life giving word we do not have any room for the enemies junk. Instead of spam mail, we call it scram mail. Heehee (Tina)
During this 90 day jumstart, we will incorporate scripture memorization. Donna has selected Proverbs 31:10-31 as the base memorization for this book. Although as the Lord leads you to memorize other scripture, do so. Donna also encourages us to go beyond just memorizing and rote memorization. Let us chew and meditate on each word, verse, sentence. Enjoy God's word, for it is truly sweet.
We need to take time to think about what we memorizing, to pray over the words even as you say them over and over again. I encourage you to replace your name in the pronoun section. Ex: for Proverbs 31:10-11, I am memorizing the amplified version. She doesn't use this version, but I encourage you to memorize the version you are more comfortable with. Here is the original version of the amplified.
A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman--who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls.
The heart of her husband trusts in her confidently and relies on and believes in her securely, so that he has no lack of [honest] gain or need of [dishonest] spoil.
Now after I mediate on it, here is my affirmation, prayer.
Tina is a capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman--who is he who can find me? Tina is far more precious than jewels and my value is far above rubies or pearls.
The heart of my husband, Spencer, trusts in me confidently and relies on and believes in me securely, so that Spencer has no lack of [honest] gain or need of [dishonest] spoil.
Do you see how powerful that is. I encourage you to go to www.BibleGateway.com find the version you like. Copy and paste it into Microsoft word, find the font you like and a pretty color, replace your name and your husbands in the correct places, then place it somewhere close. I have two copies, framed in my sitting room. One is of me and my physical earthly husband the other is of me and my spiritual husband, Jesus. I use the word Yahshua.
I do this because, first I am His wife and then the wife of my earthly husband.
Affirmation: I mediate on God's word day and night.
Practical ~ Donna has requested that we cut out the scripture cards from the back of the book. If you do not have your book yet, this will be difficult for you. So here is my suggestion. Get you some index cards, here is what verses are on each card, you can put them on your index cards and do the practical application I will give you. Here are the verses you will need for this assignment.
That will be 13 cards. Each section between the comma represents a card.
Okay, here is the practical application.
Place these cards in the front pocket of your TAG notebook, if you do not know what this you need to go back and look up this in other postings. Begin to carry them with you wherever you go, so you can memorize and meditate on God's word. Spend about 15-20 minutes on them daily, Reading, meditating on them, writing them out. Pondering the meaning and the depths of what each one says. Ask the Lord to personalize each word to your life.
Notebook ~ Create a page labeled SCRIPTURE MEMORY and put it in the TAG section of your notebook. Whenever you encounter a verse you would like to memorize, write it out here for future reference, memorization, and meditation. Add additional SCRIPTURE MEMORY pages as needed.
"Beauty is a matter of the soul. A woman of true beauty is one who's at rest with who she is and is not striving to become someone else."
"Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads and look; and ask for the eternal paths, where the good, old way is; then walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. ", Jeremiah 6:16. (amp)~~~~~"A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman ~ who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls." Proverbs 31:10 ~~~~~~
Tina's Priceless Treasures is a group of Ladies who get together every Tuesday, we get a chance to sit down, sip a cup of tea, relax and reflect on God. It's a time of "TBF". "Tea, Bible study and Fellowship." Our goal is to encourage each other in our callings: 1) As women of God, 2) As wives to our husbands and 3) As mothers to our children 4) As grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts and 5) As women in our community.~~~ We are women helping other women embrace their current situations and circumstances, by equipping them with the truth of God's Word! ~
A place where women who have the same passion to be women who live to please God and to raise their children in the Word of God. ~ A vision of a family that is different from this world. ~ Women who want to remain pure before the Lord, in speech, deed and dress. ~ We want a standard for our family and our cities. ~ Women who want to learn from one another.**************** ~ Thanks to all of you who are sharing from your heart to all of us. I hope that I can be as much of an inspiration as you have been to me.
3 "Bid the older women similarly to be reverent and devout in their deportment as becomes those engaged in sacred service, not slanderers or slaves to drink. They are to give good counsel and be teachers of what is right and noble,
4 So that they will wisely train the young women to be [a]sane and sober of mind (temperate, disciplined) and to love their husbands and their children,
5 To be self-controlled, chaste, homemakers, good-natured (kindhearted), adapting and subordinating themselves to their husbands, that the word of God may not be exposed to reproach (blasphemed or discredited)."
Titus 2: 3-5 Amplified Version
Starting in June I will be gathering some beautiful ladies in my home every Tuesday for Tea and Bible Study. We will be focusing on "Becoming the Women God wants us to be."
"These are very Special Celebrations with Some very Treasured Friends." Come join me as I post the gatherings here. So, yes you can join and you still have time to purchase the book. Just click on book to order.

Serving My Family With Love
This section is dedicated to all the women who have risen to the high calling of Wifery and Motherhood.
I myself continously look for ways to give more to my family. Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
One tool that I have found to do this is through a Household Management Binder. I call mine, "Homekeeping Daily"
Here are some sites that will help you begin your own binders.
Here are are list of awesome women who are doing the same in their own homes. You can click on their link to view their binders.
I will be adding pictures of mine soon.
