Okay Ladies, here is how we are going to best utilize this study. I will have to correspond daily with you all to really get the full use of this book online. Then I will sum up the week on Wednesdays. My group meets on Tuesdays, so you will also get feedback from the Tea gathering and hopefully some pictures.
Then I will also add you daily activity with that as well for Wednesday.
So here we go:
We are starting with Week 1 ~ Be sure to go back and read everything concerning this study first before going any farther.
Week 1/Day 1 ~ Tuesday
"Place Your Full Confidence in God"
Read: Proverbs 31:10-11, Isaiah 54: 5-6
Now Donna has a guided prayer on here. Basically she is thanking God for being her husband. Here are some of my most meanigful lines from this prayer.
"Dear heavenly Father I thank you fro choosing me to be your bride! ...You are my husband, You are the one who loved, protects, and provides ~ even if you do it through my earhtly husband. I acknowedge that you are the one behind every good thin in my life...Thank you for being my redeemer, the one who can take something worthless and transform it into something valuable. I invite you to redeem every area in my life that has potential for greater value....I want to be honest enough to admit ~ I've felt like you have deserted me at times. The truth is whenever there has been distance between us, I'm the one who has walked away from you. I long to draw near to you once more; draw me close to you through the pages of this book." Personal ~
A woman of noble character is hard to find. To be noble means to bw dignified and gracious. In the amplified bible, the word noble is rendered "capable, intelligent, and virtuous."
God wants a woman who is going to stand out among the rest. "The people around us can have full confidence in us, because we have full confidence in God and we live accordingly.
God declares himself as our husband. I have been looking at Proverbs 31 in a new light. Instead of seeing myself as a wife to my physical husband, (which is one way and I do see this) I have been apply this chapter to my life as a bride of Christ. Doing this has allowed me to really see who I am as the bride of Christ and what I am responsible for. Try it, read the passage as Christ bride and I encourage you to read the amplified version of this passage as well.
My Personal Vision Statement
Donna has asked us to find our personal vision statement. She also helps us in the process. Here is how she goes about doing this.
1. Name two unique personal qualities? (ex: outgoinging, joyful)
2. How do you enjoy expressing these qualities in your life?
3. If the world was a perfect place, then desribe it as you see it ~ what are people doing, how are they interacting with one another, what does it feel like?
4. Combine all three answers above in to a single statement. Below is my vision statement, use ot to help you with yours.
1. Inspirational and creative
2. I love to bring life to those around me, through inspirational messages, stories, songs, word of encouragement. I am also creative and love to make things for those around me, as gifts or just a special treat.
3. People are enjoying life and one another. They are being blessed and being a blessing. they are uplifting one another in word and deed. They are encouraging one another and helping each other to succeed at their full God given potential. They are respecting one another and being thoughtful to those around them. They are sharing God's love and healing power abundantly! Everyone is full of love, joy, and peace.
4. My Personal Vision Statement:
I want to use my inspirational spirit and creativity to nurture and to bring life to those around me. Through words of encouragement and inspirational messages as well as to utilize my creative ability to bring gifts to those who need to feel God's love. I want to be a source of encouragement and joy to those I meet. To help others to succeed and and help them to reach their full God-given potential. I want to bring God's healing, love, peace and joy to all those I come in contact with. I want to be a life-giver!
