Okay, sorry it has taken me a while to post this.
We have found while looking through this book that it is set up, day 1, day 2, etc.
So, in knowing this we will begin day 1 on Tuesday the 10th and then meet each Tuesday to discuss that week. We had to discuss this to find out what would be the best out come for each chapter. Seeing that we meet on Tuesdays we wanted to have the week finished by the following Tuesday.
Many of the ladies did not finish their reading so we have begun our lessons Tuesday 10th, which puts us on "Day 3" today.
I will say this. For those of you who do not have the book and you are trying to do this study over the computer. Oh, how I wish you could purchase the book. So much deep information.
On the Personal Notebooks. There is something for each day to do.
Here are the days:
Day 1: Assemble your notebook as I mentioned previously in my other entry. If you haven't done this, please go ahead and assemble your notebook.
"Write your Personal Vision Statement on the first page."
This needs to be ~personal, physical, spiritual and mental. As well as a vison for my family and children (do this one with husband so you stand on agreement for your family) I enocurage you to ask your husband for his, so you can pray for him and place that here as well. (My personal add in)
Write from your heart this can be one sentence to the whole page, front and back. This is your vision.
Day 2: Label the first tab divider in your notebook TAG ~ "Time Alone with God"(We'll be adding more labels and contents in notebook in days to come.)
Day 3: Create a page titled "SCRIPTURE MEMORY" and put it in the TAG section of your notebook. Whenever you encounter a verse you would like to memorize, write it out here for future reference, memorization, and meditation. Add additional pages for this as needed.
Day 4: In the TAG section of your notebook, label a blank piece of paper "POWER TOOLS" Here you can list scripture verses, practical tips, and resources to strengthen yourself in weak areas. Also, list the nameof one person you can call on for help in EACH area of weakness.
Day 5: Write the daily affirmations on a sheet of paper labled "AFFIRMATIONS" in the TAG section of your notebook. Begin noting any that are special to you. You can also add your own personal affirmations here as well. Donna Partow in her book notes, the friend that got her started on this practice, devotes 1 hour a day to this spiritual discipline and credits it with completely transforming her life.
Turn to your affirmation page anytime you have a few spare minutes to redeem the time by renewing your mind to God's words and thoughts about you.
Day 6: This is Saturday in the book, (Monday for us), this day is review and catch up day.
[ ] Create and begin using Personal Notebook (PNTBK)
[ ] Write personal vision record it on front page.
[ ] Create and begin using a special prayer place in your home.
[ ] Commit to spend Time Alone with God (TAG)
[ ] Add following items to my notebook: TAG section divider, Scripture memory page, power tool page, and affirmation page.

[ ] I have found an accountability partner. I cut out scripture cards from back of book and have put them in my binder.

Take one day out of each seven and rest and reflect. DO NOT use this time to catch up that is done on day 6. But do schedule them for the coming week.
