Looking For Recipes
Posted on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 10:56 - Post Comment
Recently I was diagnosed as having Candida. For one month I am on a strict yeast free, dairy free diet. Unfortunately I am struggling to get recipes so I am sending out an urgent plea for ideas. Please let me know if you have any.
Thank you!!

Hi Catherine
I'm sorry to hear you have this. Hopefully your health will improve quickly.
I don't have any recipes to help you out but I know that Tesco have a section in their store for gluten free, dairy free food etc.
Blessings.
Joanne

Hello - I enjoy browsing your blog and notice in your profile that we have many of the same interests, notably the Little House on the Prairie and Anne of Green Gables series!
I also noticed that no one has actually posted any replies to your request for gluten free, yeast free recipes. So I did a little google search and found a website that might help: www.celiac.com. I know you said you were diagnosed with Candida, but there are some posted recipes there for gluten free, etc. and perhaps they can be of help. Maybe you have already found this website, and if so, sorry to repeat. Wishing you wonderful health!

Hi there. Here's some things I do when I get a candida problem. Make sure to take a candida cleanse from the health food store. I like to eat salads with lots of veggies like peppers, garbanzo beans, spinage, etc. w/oil & vinegar. Mexican foods like pazole or chicken meatball w/mint soup. Or any combo of rice, beans, lettuce, chicken with home made chicken broth, tomato, oregano, onion etc tossed in the blender for a sauce. My favorite is chicken cassaroles with lots of veggies and home made gravy tossed on rice. Breakfasts are harder so I eat alot of hard boiled eggs, some fruits, teas and leftovers from dinner. A cup of hot lemon water in the morning is suppose to help too. Hope this helps. I love food and can't survive on things like raw veggies, oats, grass or whatever torturous things people with yeast/candida problems are suppose to stick to. God Bless!
