Doing Better

Chris, Isabel and Isabelle are doing better right now. Chris is over the worst, but he fears there is more to come. Vicadin is the strongest pain killer we have.

I did laundry by the spring... wore myself out. Was very seriously contemplating throwing the last 2 t-shirts and socks out, but Christina offered to do them while I hung clothes to dry.  I told Beth she had to scrub her own jeans... I just couldn't do it. Somehow she has 4 or 5 pairs to every one pair of Steve's. She did a great job and they are dry and ready to put away.

They are working on the tedious stuff in the church; crack filling and painting.

I've been unwilling to post any comments as I wanted to leave it to those who know you all and are close, but as I told Jason, I've been following your blogs faithfully and just wanted to let you know that my husband and I are also thinking of, and praying for you. With love and prayers...Thandi

Kidney stones...

Posted by Delores on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 12:16 - Link

We have had a taste of what that is like. I got out my Prescription for Nutritional Healing and shared part of it with Abi. One of the best pain relief things they mentioned is the juice of half a fresh lemon in 8 oz. of water every half hour until the pain goes away. Also aleo vera juice that can help reduce the size of the stone during an acute attack, that is taken at a level that doesn't produce a laxative effect. I will e-mail Jason and perhaps he can call your mom to pick up pain meds. I'll try to text message her with the number you gave me.

Chris is doing fine. He felt the stone move to the bladder area and he feels fine. Thanks anyway.
