Happy Birthday from all of us... Give all the dogs kisses. Jon
Thanks for all the comments. We love huddling around the computer in the open air reading all the wishes from our friends. Jon says Mexico was a piece of cake compared to this. No kidding!!!
The kids and men and Cindy went and loaded a thousand bricks before breakfast. Talk about a hungry crew. Everyone is allowed one piece of bread. :)
Blessings
Thank you

Thanks for the birthday wishes, we had a good day. Went to see Lee, Cherry and family for the day, had lots of fun! Missed everyone else.
I didn't give kisses to dogs, to slobbery. Dogs all fine, except had a stressful day Sun. Biloh was missing for 9 hrs. had tried to follow Eldon to work. Couldn't find her anywhere, called people, drove around and still couldn't find her. Brian Smith found her at the P.O. in Dryden, I think she was checking to see if there was any word from her loved ones there. Tell McKenzie to keep praying for the dogs, we think Biloh crossed the hyway at least 2 times. She is a prayed for dog.
Everything is fine here, Eldon will post later. We love reading about all that's going on over there.
Love to all, Ronnie

How are you doing? I'm doing great! I have been keeping very busy! Last week I went to my Grandma's house to stay the night and I also went to my cousins house to stay the night. We all had lots of fun together playing, doing chores, and school work of course.
My mommy and daddy have read all of Mrs. Ford's Blogg entries to us girls! It sounds like you are working very hard!
We had a restful Sabbath. We played with Emily and Hannah and wished you could be here too!
Hope you are having fun!
Love, Julia

Just wanted to say hi to my sister, Dave, Dakota, McKenzie and everyone.....We're keeping busy here -as always. The girls kept Jon busy today. Jenesis is talking more and more each day and is a little parrot - repeating EVERYTHING that you say. We spent 10 minutes on the potty tonight singing every song that I could think of, before she finally decided to go! Ady is extremely close to rolling from her back to front. I swear she grows everyday while I'm at work! She's still sleeping through the night - thank goodness.
Sounds like you all are so busy and getting lots done. What an exciting experience.
Just so you all know, Jere Patzer passed away on Sunday. Apparently he got a lung infection that his immunocompromised body couldn't fight off. So sad...
Also, I know that someone told you about Dr Farrar being in an accident.. Just an update... He has a C5 fracture that they stabilized with surgery. he got extubated on Friday and then reintubated by a miracle not to long later. He's still intubated and a typical bloated up ICU patient now. Keep him in your prayers, along with the Patzer family.
Love you all and pray for you often
Jenel
Care Package

Just wanted all the kids (ESPECIALLY BETHANY) to know that I have made a care package for them. I am going to try and send it with Mr. Kahler and Mr. VonBergen, but I am not sure they will have enough weight available to take it. I am still working out the details of it all. But by "hook or crook" I will get it to you!!!. If there is anything special you need in the package, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOOOON!!! There is only 3 more days till they leave.
We have been busy homeschooling, canning apple sauce and apple pie filling. The days are cool and sunny. Bethany, just wanted to let you know that Squeekers is doing really well. She is such a sweet kitty. Sam must have gotten into a fight several days ago, because now he has a big sore on his neck. Jimmie also has a sore on his left ear. Poor boys...its a tough life being a cat.
On sunday Mr. Kahler and Mr. Von Bergen leave for Africa. We leave the same day for Tuscon AZ. We will still be able to keep in touch though, cause Daddy will take his laptop along with us on the trip.
Mommy is so proud of the way you have handled your homesickness Beth. You are really growing up.
I hope you and all the kids will enjoy the treats that will be coming in the care package. Some of the treats are for the adults, so be sure to share with them as well.
Will some one please give my love and hugs to: Bethany, Angela, Kristen, Teresa, Cindy, Vanessa, Natalie, Brianna, Dakota, Christina, Ellie, McKenzie, Isabelle, Leila (she has something special in the care package from Auntie Jeanne), Sam, and Jonah.
Dont forget the men and the Kirby's too.
