I am not liking this heat. It makes my head hurt and I feel half blind. Going to town in this heat is terrible because my car does not have air conditioning. Monday after the girls orthodontist appointments Steve treated us to a cold smoothie where he works at the hospital. I was so hot (about 100 degrees F.) that on the way home we ended up stopping at the Academic Toolbox for an hour to cool down. It never hurts to stop there. I picked up a couple of books we needed for homeschool and they always give us a great big desk calendar this time of year which we needed. Life is getting a little crazy and a central calendar us vital to the sanity of this mother... It's already getting a little too full looking. Eeek... would someone tell me where the brakes are?????
We had to go to town yet again yesterday for music lessons. It was blazing hot once again. From there we went straight to the Icicle and we floated down the river in our inner tubes. We went with friends and had a great time. It took us 4 hours to get to our destination which made it 7pm... the kids and I were so tired and ready for bed. Steve spent the night in Canada. I woke up with a migraine and Steve tells me his night was no better. He stayed with his mom and she does a lot of wandering around looking for things all night.
I had the kids pick most of the peaches... there's no end to fruit lately. Got to go... Vanessa can't get the lawn mower going.

you are a very busy young lady - it does slow down eventually - my room mate has 3 kids and i remember too well the running around. Two are now Southern Adventist University students Barry (yr 2) in Computer management and Erika is going into yr 1 for physio therapist and we have one still at home
My mom is living with us now and that is just as much work - but i would not trade it for anything - thank you for sharing - i remember you at a very young age and now look at you.......
