We actually grew a carrot! and it even looks like one!
And did you know Frosty is our relative?
Like those whiskers?
This is my canner. I love doing it outside... keeps the heat out and propane is way faster and it's a lot easier on my kitchen stove. It works like a charm.

My daughter grew our first decent carrots year, I can't take any credit, but I'm inspired to try growing them again myself. Mine always look like crazy crooked pencils.
