My frist troll
In a way, I feel honored. Even in a negative way some one is reading what I write. Even though this blog has been a way to share what I have learned and to help others, it mostly has been a way for me to keep track of daily life. I know that I have been away for awhile but I am back now and planned a different type of post for today. When I checked my e mail ( what I normally do while my little girl is working on her school work) I noticed that a comment had been posted. I was curious since I had not posted for awhile so I decided to take a look. Here is what I found:
1. Your DH has a job and you complain!!!!!!!!! Idiot.
2. You are making a huge fire hazzard in your home.
3. You chain your child to you like a dog.
Do you see anything wrong with your post?
Of course this was left by "Anonymous". I felt the need to include a response. I know, probably not the best idea but I wondered about the others that read this blog. Maybe this is not a troll instead just a person that is having a bad day or just disagrees with what I said or am doing. I included a response to help clear matters. I do hope this is not a true "troll" and instead is just a person that disagrees. Any ideas?

I would suggest setting your comments to only accept registered users because this site doesn't allow moderating of anonymous comments. I would also suggest checking the IP for the commenter (I don't know how to do this but someone here will show you how) you can compare it to other commenters, possibly revealing the one who was rude.
About "chaining your child to you like a dog".
My grandmother had 6 children, 4 of them were very busy boys. Grandma was also very busy working a garden, hanging clothes on the line, you know what I mean. She said that when her babies were toddlers getting into everything, she'd tie a little rope around the boys' belt loop and then to the nearest tree to her or the clothes line post. They had enough rope to roam the entire yard without getting lost or getting hurt and were never left there unattended. I'm not sure if it was common practice back in the day but I have been told it was completely acceptable and I don't knock you for this, it is a way to keep busy children nearby.
Take Care,
Sharon

Thank you for the suggestion. I am not sure how to do that either but I am going to look into it.
I let my daughter roam because she is 5 and does not do risky things. My son is soon to be three and will climb a tractor or run down the road to the neighbors. No fear in that child. He worries me that he might get hurt. My Gram was to one that suggested that I hold him near while outside. I was the only way we could think of to keep him safe. Thanks again for the comment

Everyone has an opinion. But it would be nice that if you don't have anything nice to say....well you know! Don't say anything at all! There are a lot of people who are economically challenged, physically distressed, etc., and really trying to find an outlet. The bottom line, pray for them (and us to be able to pray for them). Maybe it was just a hard day?
Be Blessed my friend!
