Summer Garden supper.

I pray every day that one day soon my little garden will be a big big garden and I will be able to provide my family with its wonderful bounty all year long.  But until then I will continue to make baby steps.

Last nights summer I took a couple of large tomatoes, a walla walla sweet onion some fresh garlic, and a zucchini and diced it all up I sautéed the onion and garlic then added some fresh basil and oregano then I added the tomatoes and zucchini.

I then tossed this with some cooked pasta and grated cheese, the pasta and the cheese came from the store everything else from garden.

The night before we had strambolli  basically French bread with seasoned ground beef and sprinkled with cheese. I served this with fresh Tomatoes sprinkled with Mozzarella and broiled for a moment and slices of fresh Hermiston watermelon from the farmers market.  For this meal we only bought melon and ground beef and cheese.

I am looking for a good source of milk so I can make my own cheese I cant wait.  (I also need to post the recipe for parmesan cheese I will do that this week)

Tonight we will have green beans with bacon, melon, and fried zucchini and maybe a pasta salad.

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer bounty.

Our adventure for the week will be picking wild blackberries hoping for at least 20 pounds.
