Today was yet another busy day... First of all, I am thankful to the LORD that we had a nice rain this morning! It was getting a bit dry. I filled orders this morning after a busy weekend (free shipping sale!). Then we packed into the van and drove an hour to Shipshewana to stock up on more oils for our soaps...had some yummy ice-cream cones too! As soon as we arrived home I began making a batch of soap...finished three mini batches this afternoon and will make more large batches tonight when the children are in bed. We want to get stocked up on fall seasonal varieties. Soap takes around a month to cure, so we need to be thinking ahead. Especially since the baby is due around the first of November! I must admit that I am getting tired and I hope to get myself ahead over the next few weeks so that I can start resting more as I reach the end here...I began my 3rd trimester yesterday! The cucumbers have been AWESOME this year! This is the best harvest of cukes I have ever had. I pray that they continue. We love pickles and never get enough put up. Last year they were gone before it even turned cold outside! It is so difficult to fit everything that I need to do each day into my schedule!
