Well I figured since my wife is the Senior Editor here at HomesteadBlogger I should step up and show her some support. My hope is to use this blog as a way to learn from others experiences, share some of my own, tell some stories, and have a little fun along the way.
So leave me a comment and introduce yourself. I look forward to meeting all ya'll...

Hiya Tony!
My name is Rebekah. I'm a homesteader wannabe.lol My husband Doug is finishing his last year of Nursing school where we hope to have a homestead AND adopt in the future.
We are taking Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University which has done wonders to our finances. We hope to be debt free in 2008 and looking for that dream homestead of our own.
I look forward to your posts and wish you a big Welcome to the community.
Rebekah

Welcome Tony. You have become a part of a very fine community of like minded people. There is a lot to be learned from each other. Enjoy!
"The Gnat Line" is a euphemism and ambiguous at best but in the geologists' world it is, technically, "the fault line" - but since you've asked - looks like it may be time for "Gnat Line 101" (yours is a question I get often) - but since y'all are in Kentucky and a part of the South and all (wink, wink) - be sure and play along (..."I knew that"....). Just look out for the comparison paragraph of the Texas Buffalo Gnat (it follows their motto of everything's bigger in T....) vs. our good ol' just general gnats of the Deep South here in Georgia (....they can have 'em!).
Y'all, have a great week up there! We'll be passing through up that way in another week ~
Blessings,
Harriette
