Prayers needed for friend

03:58 PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2007 .. 2 comments .. Link

Just wanted to put up a quick post before I started getting ready for VBS. My very dear friend, Nancy, is pregnant with her second child. She has had some problems with the pregnancy but has managed them all. Today she went to her doctor's appointment.

Though Nancy is due in about three weeks (or less, I can't remember the exact date), her baby is breach. The baby is already about 7 pounds, so turning it at this point would be hard. The OB said there was about a 60% chance they could turn it, and even it was successful it could turn back before the birth.

Although Nancy is frightened and does not want to have a c-section, she has decided to wait and see if the baby will still turn on its own. As I told her, God can do great things, including turning a baby in the womb. We are all waiting and praying. Please pray with us!

Has your friend gone to see a chiropractor who specializes in pregnancy? There is a technique called the "Webster Technique" that is used for helping breech babies turn around. It is highly successful and completely non-invasive. I've had it done and been very pleased with the result (my baby wasn't breech, but he wasn't in a good position and after a few weeks of Webster work he turned into a much better one!)

My first baby was breach as well - I was going to try the turn, but had lots of people praying and the baby turned just before delivery! Prayer definitely works!
