Okay, I have been tagged for the same thing by two good blog friends, Haflinger, and Debbie from meme21713, so I guess I had better do it! This is actually the first time I have ever been tagged for anything, so here goes. I am going to try and list facts that I don't think my friends out there in blog world know about me! Here are the rules (I think I copied them from Haflinger's blog): Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog. 1. I love the smell of lavendar, roses and bleach - yes, bleach. It just reminds me of clean. 2. I won't eat okra because I think it is hairy on the inside, and nobody can convince me otherwise. My husband said this is because I grew up on the west coast and never ate okra until I moved to the south. And yes, he insists we grow okra in the garden.... 3. I like to put steak sauce on almost any starch, i.e. mashed potatoes, macaroni. 4. I am one of nine children, but grew up with only two brothers. My mom had six children, then waited many years before having three more. The older kids were already grown and married by the time my two brothers and I came around. 5. If my family history is any indication, I don't think I'll live to be very old (I'm 31 now). My father died at 55 of heart disease, my mother died at 68 of alzheimer's, and one of my sister's died at 36 of breast cancer. 6. I have never been a smoker. I went through a stage twice in my life where I tried it for a few days, but it never stuck. Every time I would smoke I would have to run and take a shower because I can't stand the smell of nicotine! Even though everyone thought I was odd at the time, I'm glad now! 7. I grew up in San Diego, moved to a city of about 40,000 people in North Carolina when I was 17. Now I have dreams of moving to a tiny town of only about 2,000 people and starting a farm. 8. I married my husband when I was 18 years old. He was 23. Everyone said I was crazy to marry so young but we both knew we were perfect for each other. I won't lie and say it's been perfect, but we still love each other and know we will grow old together. Nobody else would put up with either one of us! lol. We celebrated our 13th anniversary this year. Okay, my turn to tag! Glammon dorninkrefuge JubileeFarm5 Jonash2004 mulberrylane Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 111 of 168 } { Next Page } |
