Well, the chickens are still roaming.  We purchased the material for the pen yesterday, cleaned out the chicken coop from head to toe because we have decided to switch from hay to wood shavings for the bedding.  I have to be away today and will return tomorrow afternoon.  Hopefully the pen will go up then!  I hate being away from Felark Field.  Does anyone else feel that way when they have to go out of town??

The day before yesterday I decided to bake bread.  I haven't baked bread in several months and through the inspiration of several of you ladies, I have decided to jump back on that wagon.  I made two loaves (I have pictures but just haven't gotten them onto the computer yet).  I gave one loaf to my husband's co-worker and we are eating on the second.  I love homemade bread but I find that my teenagers still like the tasteless store bought bread.  Has anyone else been plagued with that??

I dread the days I have to venture away from our home and farm and go to town to run errands. I can't seem to get home fast enough. I'm convinced I could do all my shopping/errands online or over the phone and not mind a bit.
