This is what I did this morning. I am trying to get back into cake decorating. I did these with color flow icing. You have to work fast with it but it starts crusting or drying. Now this is the first time I have worked with it in two years. Then it was only one time. It was for the class I was taking. It is not a great job but I was just practicing. I will keep at till I get it.

I have been busy today. I didn`t realize it was after 10 am. I have already done two loads of dishes. A load of clothes. Cleaned my cake decorating tips and my container. Been on here. Made color flow icing and practiced with it. Looked for my cake decorating books. I think the kids are about to get up. Now off to do morning chores.(little late) Start school and do more laundry. I really need to go to town but I may put it off till hubby gets home. He wants to go to Walmart. I will have to break my record. I have not been since the first of June. What, 5 mos. I need to balance out the check book before we go. We always spend way more than what we should. Thats why I avoid it.
UPDATE: I GOT OUT OF GOING TO WALMART. HUBBY TOOK THE KIDS. THAT IS KINDA SCARY THO.

we have only been in Ky for about 1 month. Today we visited Franklin and that's where the Piggly Wiggly was. God Bless you and I will pray your husband will have a change of heart in those areas.
You are very talented. I think you should try to get the word out, that you decorate cakes. Maybe you could get some orders for birthday cakes.
I don't know if you could make a profit doing this. I guess it depends on how fast you are at decorating. Any time that I try to decorate a cake it takes me all day. I am so slow at it and I couldn't make any thing for my time in it.
If I send my husband to wal-mart he spends way less than I would if I go. He gets in there, gets whats on the list and gets out. He hates wal-mart but he seill go for me if I am having a bad day.

It depends on what kind of cake and how it is to be decorated. It takes an hour or two do one. I did post on myspace to let my family and friends know that I would be taking orders for holiday cakes and candies. But so far, no one has placed an order. I guess I need to make one and post some pics of it.

I cannot stand Walmart. The prices are good though. I hate how Walmart forces manufacturers to go to other countries to produce goods for a good price.

I am not striking against walmart. I just really don`t like shopping. I don`t like crowds. I only go when I really need something. It is just like the mall, I haven`t been to it forever. I shop at Family Dollar or Dollar General because it is closer for me. 10 mins to one of them compared to 25 mins to walmart. I will be going sometime soon because of buying Christmas gifts. sheryl

I am a stay-at-home, Christian homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have been blessed with three kids,ages 18, 10 and 8. We live on a family farm and have several animals. I`m just a simple farm gal, who loves her God, family, friends and life.
