• Tuesday, November 20, 2007 - Daughters first buck
Yelp, dd1 got her first buck ever. She even got one before her dear old dad. But she sure wasn`t hunting for one. She was on her way home from her boyfriend`s house and it jumped out in front of her. She couldn`t get stopped in time. Her boyfriend lives way out and I worry about her driving out there anyway. But when she called tonight, crying so hard I could barely understand her. She had to back up a good way before she came to a house. No light except hazard on. Luckily, she goes to school with the girl who lives in the house. That girls dad came out and looked at her car for her. She was able to call us and her boyfriend. Kurt and his dad came down got her car and took it back to his house. We went to get her and dh wanted to look at the car and see what all was wrong with . She needs new headlights and hood. I am sure some other stuff to. We will know more tomorrow.
I guess I will be going and getting stuff to fix for Thanksgiving. We will be making pumpkin rolls and baking tomorrow. We are not doing anything big Thursday. It will just be us and my grandpaw. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.
I am glad that your daughter was alright. We have a lot of deer by where we live too and on the way to my husbands work. I worry about his drive to work. I hope that the car isn't to bad and can be fixed.
Bless her heart.....I would have been scared half to death. Thanks to God that she is ok.
I was excited when I saw that she got a deer but then I read how she got it and all excitment went away.
I hope the car isn't to bad and that it won't cost too much to get it fixed.
