This Kentucky Pecan Pie recipe is the one my Aunt Mary always makes for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
1 c. white corn syrup 1c. brown sugar
1/3 tsp. salt 1/3 c. melted butter
or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
3 whole eggs, slightly beaten
1 heaping c. shelled, whole pecans
Mix together sugar, syrup,salt, butter and vanilla. Add eggs. Pour into 9 inch unbake pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over all.
Bake in preheat oven 350 for about 45 mins. Cool. top with whipped cream or ice cream.
