My aunt Frances use to make this icing all the time when I was little and I loved it. It is really good over chocolate cake.
2 heaping TBSP of plain flour
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. sweet milk
Mix flour and sugar good in a skillet. Add milk and bring to a boil. Stirring all the time. After it boils, put 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 2 TBSP. of butter and mix well. Now this is how the recipe was given to me.
