• Saturday, November 17, 2007 - Tired, lack of sleep and update on stepmom
I am having a little trouble going to sleep tonight. Hard to believe that considering how tired I have been. I got back home Tuesday from going and see my stepmom. I stayed up all night Sunday with her and my dad. I got up about 9:30 Sunday morning and finally got to bed about 11:00 Monday night. I was able to take about a two hour nap Monday afternoon. Friday, I woke up about 5:30am with the stomach flu. I was out of it about all day. Then got up Saturday and drove to my dad`s house. My sister picked me up there and then, to the hospital. Total of a three hour drive. I was at the hospital until 10:30 til my mom came and picked me up. I don`t drive in a big city. Yes, to me Columbus, Oh is a big city. My stepmom is at OUS, which is in the middle of the campus. By Wednesday, I had all the laundry to do, housework and had to go to the store. Just as we were pulling into the holler my MIL and FIL were coming out. Here it is 6:00 and I haven`t even got supper cooked yet and they decided to stop by. We get to the house and they turned around came back. Now I have a unit Study, that I also have to get ready for the next day with our homeschooling group. I still have to cook dinner and I have company now. Then Thursday, I am up by 5:30 and getting dh ready for work and fixing breakfast. We leave the house about 8:10 and I have to stop by the drs. office for bloodwork. Then at the unit study by 9:00. I think I finally got out of there by 1:45. Then I had some more laundry and housework to do when I got. Cook supper. I made chili, quick and easy.
Well anyway today, I just did some more cleaning. Kids did some school and then their chores. I had a lot of cleaning to get caught up on. Plus I am doing some deep cleaning for the holidays. We really don`t have big plans for Thanksgiving this year. I will be cooking for us and my papaw. My mom is not coming down this year. She is cooking at her house for my brother and his girlfriend. They all will be down here for Christmas. I am going to go finish up the movie I am watching. Go to bed and try to get some sleep. It is almost 3am and I have to get up at 6:30 to cook breakfast and fix lunch for dh. He has his last fishing tournment for the year. He is tied for first place. So this one is an important one for him if he wins. Oh I guess I should update you all on my stepmom. She is stable and do good right now.
I am a stay-at-home, Christian homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have been blessed with three kids,ages 18, 10 and 8. We live on a family farm and have several animals. I`m just a simple farm gal, who loves her God, family, friends and life.
