I just have a little good news for my family. My brother is getting married. He will be getting married this coming Spring. I haven`t meet the girl he is going to marry. I will be able to meet her at Christmas, if not at Thanksgiving. We are not sure if we will be going to moms this year for dinner. Our farm animals really tie us down this time of the year. He called me tonight and told me. I am so happy for him. Maybe to some that really isn`t so big but he is 32 years old and this is the first woman he has been serious with since high school. His high school sweetheart broke his heart. He always said that he never wanted to get married or have a family. He meet her from work a couple of years ago and at first they were just friends. She lived out west. This summer she moved to Ohio where my brother lives. He asked her last night and she said yes. I haven`t seen my brother this happy in years. He kinda had a hard life growing up. To finally see my little brother so happy, just feels my heart with so much joy. I don`t even know how to explain. Congrads! little brother.
Congrats!
I know what you mean about a brother being older getting married. My oldest brother is 40 and had never been serious about a gal and then he met this great gal and they were planning on getting married but...he cheated on her so I think that I am destined to have a bacholer brother! I just bet tho that your brother still does not live on mommy and daddys farm and has mommy make his meals and wash his clothes tho.heheh (sorry fort he long post)

Well he did live with mom and my stepdad but moved out last year. Now mom did cook for him but he would cook at least once a week to help out. He did do his own laundry.
Picked up his room but that was about it. He has always had a pretty good job and they never paid his bills or anything. I think mom just enjoyed having him there.

I am so happy to hear that another man and woman will be joined as one. This is such a blessing, I am sure.It will be even a greater blessing if they give you many nieces and nephews to love.
I hope their marriage will be one that last a lifetime, through the good times and the bad times.
I know about little brothers and how they, sometimes, are like your own child. We want the best for them and we want them to always be happy. I have a little brother too.

I am really happy for him. It has taken him a long time to find the right person. There has been such a big change in him. They are looking for a church to start attending together. The only thing is she already has two children from a perivous marriage and she nor him want kids. And I am very sad about that. I want my brother to be able to know what the joy of having his own. But if you say anything about it, he does get very offensive and say it is not going to happen. I just tell him I am going to pray about it and let God work there. I have already15 nieces and newphews.

I am a stay-at-home, Christian homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have been blessed with three kids, ages 18, 10 and 8. We live on a family farm and have several animals. I`m just a simple farm gal, who loves her God, family, friends and life.
