The man came today to get the goats. We only have one left. I didn`t include the boer doe. Although, they didn`t go far, just about 4 1/2 miles up the road from us. I know they will have a good home. One of my best friends dad took them. We are down sizing our homestead. I have gotten rid of all my chickens except for the bannies and two hens and two roosters. I would like to find them a home but the kids want to keep them. It has just been really hard on me keeping up with everything. DH works a lot of over time, so he is not here to help me. Lots contributed to our decision to down size.
I wanted to thank everyone for their advice on the homeschooling interruptions. I guess, with this year being so crazy, I am just not use to it. In 45 mins., I had three inturruptions and now I am going to have to go over that section again tommorrow because dd2 got nothing from it. I guess, there is just certain things I am very picky about and teaching is one of them. Oh well. Thats life.
I am sorry to hear that you have gotten rid of most of your goats. MIne are such pets, it would be really hard for me to do. I am sure the one doe left is quite unhappy about it too! Hope the downsizing of chores is a help to you. There are days that I wonder if that is what we should do too, but I can't imagine life without my critters right now.
