Isn't it amazing how much God teaches us through our kids. I have been praying for their character lately and I think as I'm praying it, I need to be praying this for myself too. God is developing the same character in me constantly that I am wanting my kids to learn. Isn't it amazing! We are never out of that reach of needing character training. Whether young or old. What a humbling experience.

Well here's the first blog. I'm hoping I can catch on to this faster than the last one I tried. We are a homeschooling family that is growing and learning lots! I feel like I am learning how to accept the blessings of the Lord. When we moved onto our little acreage I had a hard time accepting so much the Lord had given us. I felt like it was overwhelming at times. I could just see Him smiling down saying, accept it my daugher, it's from me and it's because I love you! He had given us a promise of this blessing many years ago, but I didn't know how I would react, or how to receive His blessing. HE IS WONDERFUL. And I'm learning more and more from Him each day about blessing, even in the hard things there is much blessing.
