Hi.... Got linked to this site via an LJ post (You can check out my life blog at www.livejournal.com/darlong) and saw a fellow suri alapaca lover so I decided to join. I'm a middle aged lady with a very extended family and 6 alpacas. 2 Horses as well, and 6 cats. Living in Canada (the warmer bit in Ontario) and searching desperately for a farm. Our city house is conditionally sold so very soon we will pull up stakes and be reunited with our alpacas. I hope to learn a lot from you all, and perhaps provide a few insights of my own (if not vast amusement). I am a retired (sort of) nurse practitioner with a specialty in midwifery, and I have also studied natural and holistic therapies. I miss helping families welcome babies and hope the impending birth of 3 alpaca babies will help!
