What a day ahead of us

Blessings!

   Well, here it is 6:30 and we are done with our morning tasks and we are redding up leave for the fairgrounds for the goat show.

   Yesterday we spent most of the afternoon and into early evening getting the barn ready for it all. It's so exciting:)

   And a sweet thing to look forward to is...one of the folks that is showing is bringing CaraDD and I two Nigerian bucklings:) We just can't wait to get our hands on them:) They are still on bottle.

   You see, we have a small start up herd of Nigerian Dwarfs. As some of you might know it's very difficult to find an outside breeder that has a healthy herd. And as some of you also might know, we had a CL scare here just a couple weeks ago:s So we are VERY concerned about having a clean herd.

   Anyway, CaraDD also has them and we decided to go in on a couple little bucklings together so we would have our own herd sires:) They will stay with her though as I have a VERY big Nubian buck that is VERY spoiled and we are afraid he might hurt the little ones. I suppose I'll have to visit them often for some cuddles with those littles:)

   Well, our day away is about to begin. We will not be done and home till sometime late this evening. I hope it's sooner than that but you never know:) In either case, it's going to be quite a day:)

   I have pictures of setting up yesterday and we will get pictures of the show today and I'll try to post them tonight or tomorrow as time permits.

It sure is good to be home! Thanks for the unsweet tea and the treats! I'm sure glad you remembered your camera, cause I didn't have even one minute to take a picture. See you in the morning!

~~No problem. After finally emerging from my MUCH needed shower, I am now settling in my jammies and ready to start going over any of the pictures I got. I'm not sure how they will turn out because the camera kept pausing to get light.
