Be Ye Separate

Why me?

Blessings to ye!

   Our day has been just so wonderful:) It got me to thinking. I remember as a child when I would fall and skin my knee and I would say "why me?" My life was not perfect growing up and I wailed "why me?" I was married and divorced twice and I cried "why me?" My daughter passed on to Glory and I liked to die, weeping and moaning "why me?"

   Then one day, the Lord brings a man into my life who loves my 5 remaining children. He gives me 2 stepsons in the process. He calls me to Himself in such a big way. He brings us to a place to raise and grow our own food. He gives me an ailment to slow me down because I was going too fast:) He showers us with blessings and gifts from above every single day...I am thankful, I am grateful, I am prayerful, I am humbled...Why me?

   Lord thank you for all you do and for all you provide. I have no idea why You would put such a high price upon my head to pay for it with Your only begotten Son but I pray that I shall always and forever be mindful of your blessings.

   So...why you?

God be with thee!
