Morning Beloveds!
Wow! What a wonderful, wonderful weekend! :-) Praise you Jesus!!
Well as you many of you know, I had a full afternoon Fri. with getting my daughter home from church camp, then dopped off at here dads and rushing over to the Beth Moore Simulcast at church. It went from 6:00pm - 9:00pm on Fri. night and then again Sat. morning from 8:30am - Noon. It was simply WONDERFUL, UPLIFTING, and INSPIRING!!!! I just love Beth Moore's style of teaching woman. She is so funny, down to earth and real. She make studying the word fun. I know that the Lord was talking to me on Sat. for her message was EXACTLY ON WHAT I AM STRUGGLING WITH!!!!!!! Then when I got home from the event, my dear BIL and SIL were here visiting from out of town for the day so we all went out and got supper later that night. My dh and I had a sitter so we were able to go out, just us adults....so that was very nice as well! :-)
Sunday we had plans to go on a picnic to BackBone State Park with my dh oldest daughter and her family. we cooked out while the kiddos played and had a nice (late) lunch. We then headed over tot he Backbone on foot as the park enterance was closed due to washouts. It was a healthy hike all in all! LOL! :-) We got home around 7:00pm (park is a little over an hour away) and then our cousins showed up out of the blue and visited with us until well after dark! We rode the 4 wheller, picked black berries, showed them the goats and garden and took them down to the timber. We had a very nice visit.
Well as you can see we had a completely FULL weekend. I am so behind on memail and work. SO I will be doing my best to get caught up this morning. I have my Girl Scout Fall Kick Off today at 4:00pm and it is an hour away from here. I am the Leader for the Senior level (9th and 10th grades) here in this school distict, so I have to go. :-) School here starts Aug. 13th!
