Not what you thought??? Well, this is Frontier Mans answer to the gas crunch (he can't help it if it happens to be a Harley!) and I appreciate a man who makes the supreme sacrifice for his family, oh and the tractor fund is now in the red and so any charitable donations are welcome......

Frontier Man, er.... aka Harley Man?

Okay, I have a confession. Let me just say long legs, Harley and black leather.... Whew... MMMmmm...

Now excuse me whilst I go collect meself.....

Thank you God for this man..... and his legs....... on that Harley....... and ....... Oh, Lord have mercy....

Work out your own salvation

09:49, Friday, June 6, 2008 .. Posted in Just shtuff .. 1 comments .. Link
This comes from MY UTMOST for HIS HIGHEST today...

WORK OUT WHAT GOD WORKS IN

"Work out your own salvation." Philippians 2:12-13

Your will agrees with God, but in your flesh there is a disposition which renders you powerless to do what you know you ought to do. When the Lord is presented to the conscience, the first thing conscience does is to rouse the will, and the will always agrees with God. You say - "But I do not know whether my will is in agreement with God." Look to Jesus and you will find that your will and your conscience are in agreement with Him every time. The thing in you which makes you say "I shan't" is something less profound than your will; it is perversity, or obstinacy, and they are never in agreement with God. The profound thing in man is his will, not sin. Will is the essential element in God's creation of man: sin is a perverse disposition which entered into man. In a regenerated man the source of will is almighty. "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure." You have to work out with concentration and care what God works in; not work your own salvation, but work it out, while you base resolutely in unshaken faith on the complete and perfect Redemption of the Lord. As you do this, you do not bring an opposed will to God's will, God's will is your will, and your natural choices are along the line of God's will, and the life is as natural as breathing. God is the source of your will, therefore you are able to work out His will. Obstinacy is an unintelligent 'wadge' that refuses to be enlightened; the only thing is for it to be blown up with dynamite, and the dynamite is obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Do I believe that Almighty God is the source of my will? God not only expects me to do His will, but He is in me to do it.

Look what the government gave us!

The box says it can be set up in 45 minutes!!! HAHAHA HEE HEE HEE HOOEYY .... uh huh.

Was that us in the dark last night with the car running for headlights to see by and fighting the mosqitoes for dear life?  Uh, yeah.

Don't worry Little Miss, at the rate it is filling I figure, ohhh, by next summer it should have enough to swim in.

I'm thin, I'm thin, I'm finally thin.....

okay, I'm not, but this mirror kinda made me look l-o-n-g and thin. Here are some pictures taken on a recent field trip to the children’s museum.

Here are the girls hanging off one of the old cars (Big Miss, friend, and Little Miss)

I am in the hospital having a baby (Doctor Little Miss was wonderful!)

I love a puppet show!

Puppet show from the back....It WAS the girls!

The dentist said, "This won't hurt a bit".....AHHHH

Here Little Miss is inside a huge bubble (too cool!)

So many things to try....

Hurry, hurry, call the firetruck

Racing the skeleton

The kids loved trying out the special needs

Digging for dinosaur bones

Making a video

How's that wind there Sarah?

The castle maze

The train ride (did I mention it was REALLY windy?)

Never doubt that a 17 year old cannot have fun in a children’s museum!

A picture story...

Marsha is looking down the hill. But at what?

At the flock of chickens following frontier man.

But why are they following him??

Because he is thier crushed pecan God.

Thats not a prairie chicken.... but Betty. Betty is Little Miss' pet chicken who sneaks into the house at any given time (but that is another story for another time.)

Aren't ya gonna share?

 Huh?

If you bake bread regularly, check this out....

If you bake bread regularly, then you have probably been like me and “forgot the bread” or didn’t hear the timer go off.either during rising or baking. Well I have found the perfect thing for that. I’ve heard about this little timer at King Arthur Flour and thought it was just too cool. For one thing the timer is lightweight and hangs from a cord (think no more carrying those other timers around or trying to put it in a place you can hopefully hear it while you are outside or in another room) also, what makes it even better is that you do not have to run your time up to start it, you just punch it in and hit start! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The only thing I changed is pried the magnet out of the back to make it even more lightweight around my neck. You can purchase one from King Arthur, or like me and get it off E-bay, it will be about 20.00 with shipping. Made by Polder.

Now there you have it, the best timer for a bread baker.

I was wrong...

This week I inadvertantly hurt a dear young woman with my thoughtlessness and speaking out. Sometimes I get so caught up that it seems that the world runs just the way Jeanette thinks it should in her little boxed world that I don't want to see that there really are different views and personal relationships with God that differ from mine. Lord, they love you just as much as I do! I know this, so why should I judge others in their belief just because it is different? As painfull as this is to learn it this way, I know he is shaping me and I am so grateful for forgiveness, first from the one I offended and the other from my Lord. Lessons such as these are hard to learn and hard to take, but I do know they are necessary for me to be a better child for my God. It seems that "sorry" does not seem enough even though it is heartfelt, I was out of line and someone was hurt as a result. I did not intend it but it happened this way just the same. I don't want to just voice that we are all different, but I want to be able to LIVE and ACCEPT we are different and be blessed because of it.

You are not MY God alone, may I know that and rejoice that we share in you Lord...

Amen.

Our Valentine party at home (pictures)

11:14, Monday, February 18, 2008 .. Posted in Just shtuff .. 2 comments .. Link

Big Miss planned our Valentine party all out, including the menu. Since her gift to her beau was dinner, she wanted to make his fav's (I bet he did not expect the pink gravy ) It all turned out fun fun fun and we thought we would share pictures of the dinner making, meal and dance afterwards.
