I was wrong...This week I inadvertantly hurt a dear young woman with my thoughtlessness and speaking out. Sometimes I get so caught up that it seems that the world runs just the way Jeanette thinks it should in her little boxed world that I don't want to see that there really are different views and personal relationships with God that differ from mine. Lord, they love you just as much as I do! I know this, so why should I judge others in their belief just because it is different? As painfull as this is to learn it this way, I know he is shaping me and I am so grateful for forgiveness, first from the one I offended and the other from my Lord. Lessons such as these are hard to learn and hard to take, but I do know they are necessary for me to be a better child for my God. It seems that "sorry" does not seem enough even though it is heartfelt, I was out of line and someone was hurt as a result. I did not intend it but it happened this way just the same. I don't want to just voice that we are all different, but I want to be able to LIVE and ACCEPT we are different and be blessed because of it. You are not MY God alone, may I know that and rejoice that we share in you Lord... Amen. Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 103 of 306 } { Next Page } |
