Another great  fine!.....

The beginners guide to preserving, (free E- Book) It's by (www.homesteadharvest.com) when you go to their site, go to categories, and half way down you will see where you can download the free garden journal which is great and also sign up for their newsletter and get another E-Book,101 fresh garden recipes. Then go down more and you will see the  *the preserving E-Book*.

                       ( Classic milk chocolate chips)

                               1 cup butter, softened              2/14 cups all purpose flour

  3/4 cup granulated sugar             1teaspoon baking soda

  3/4 cup packed light brown sugar    1/2 teaspoon salt

  1 teaspoon vanilla extract             2 cups milk chocolate chips

  2 eggs

It's just the good old chocolate chip recipe, but I spread the batter out on a cookie sheet and cute them into squares when down. Something quick and easy.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

{ 05:32, Saturday, March 29, 2008 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Went back to the Dr. and he said I need to be on the walker till I go back next month(April 16th). I want to get out into our yard and rake and start getting our place looking nice again. It has been a long time and our yard needs some TLC........... (the funny part is that my husband has a lawn service and landscape business) and our yard looks the worse.................So anyhow..... sense I cant do that I've been cleaning out files, I have 7years of old files of income taxes that I can shred. I am afraid of getting read of them, just in case so I save them for along time.......... Monday will be the big day of doing that.

By Tuesday............ I want to get back reading and spending time with the lord like I use to. ( I would read every morning and pray before anyone got up). for some reason I have been having a hard time doing that. And it's hard getting back on track.............. I made a blank schedule up so I can note the times that I am doing things around the house. And at the end of the day I can see what I can change. I've been studying and reading on (Hearing God)

I sure would like to hear from you. if anyone has some good advice, On how you do your reading time?

             Till Later,   Suzanne

Felt good to bake

{ 10:48, Wednesday, March 5, 2008 } { 1 comments } { Link }

Yesterday was a very good day, did somethings around the house and made some chocolate cream puffs. I was using my camcorder to take the pictures, so it is a little dark, the recipe made 10. and by that night. Paul and Amie ate them up. they are so glad that I can bake some........... going to work in my craft room and do a little organizing. I thought of making some cards to sell. So I will go and see what supplies I have and need to buy. This is short.

  Until later, Suzanne

scripture to meditate on:        "A HAPPY HEART MAKES THE FACE CHEERFUL" (PROVERBS 15:13)

My surgery went well.

{ 01:49, Sunday, March 2, 2008 } { 1 comments } { Link }

My surgery went well, I go back to see the Dr. Friday and get all the details on what he exactly did. He was in and out of the room,  so quick, I just couldn't comprend what he said......... It's so nice to be able to move around better, and sit at the computer and read some blogs.... made out a menu  and I decided to put them in the spread sheet file, so I can go back and see what meals we have been eating........ need new ideas..... scent's I haven't been able to do a lot I've been watching some cooking shows and taking notes of some of their ideas. well try some when I  can get off of this walker....... My husband did a great job of taking care of the house, and with the help of our daughter, very pround of them, I can't wait till I can be the mom again, and take care of them.............. till later

Thanks for all the prayers                                 Suzanne
