Rainy Days

Another rainy day here in Tennessee. At least it's finally turning a bit colder. 70's in December is ridiculous. I think it's going to be in the teens Sunday night. Now thats more like it. Of coarse thats because if I get cold outside I can come into my cozy little house.I thank God for all of my blessings. Well I still haven't got alot of Christmas gifts bought but I don't plan on buying alot anyway. I am hoping to do all that I am going to do this week-end.We are having the teens Christmas party at our house after church on Sunday night. That should be alot of fun. I'm just taking one day at a time and trying to enjoy it all.

I moved my baby chicks out to the coup. They are now 6 weeks old. They are doing great. I love spending time out in the coup. I hope to have a barn someday. We are not going to build a big one here because we are going to move in a couple of years. I love the smell of hay and just the warmth of a barn is so relaxing and comforting. I hope to add goats to my farm one day.Now we have 3 horses, 27 chickens, 2 dogs 7 puppies, 4 cats. Life is grand!

I am going to get serious about memorizing more scripture. I will try to  list my weekly memory verses. This week

Psalm 121:1-8

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

This verse tells us that if we are following Gods will and seeking his will for our lives that he will be with us always in every step of our journey.

You sound a lot like us. We have 7 dogs too and about 150 other animals. I live in So Calif and it is warm here also. I would like a colder winter. Not to wear t-shirts or shorts year around. God Bless. mj

Your farm sounds like a very enjoyable place to be. Two of my daughters have just started riding horses. I do love the sweet smell of hay also.
Blessings,
Jennie
