Chicks and Christmas!

Hello to all! It's beautiful weather today. Sunny and 50's. My chicks are now going into their 5th week and still in the brooder box in my basement. They are not cute anymore and ready to go outside into the chicken coop! I cannot wait. I also cannot wait to get fresh eggs from them so I am being nice to them and patient.

I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet but I am not worried. I'm so tired of people telling you if you haven't finished by the Thanksgiving holiday that you ae behind. We try to keep it simple and try to focus on the meaning and all the fun things that you do like baking and giving yummies away. We try to stay out of the hustle and bustle.  Any comments on this? What do your families do differently from the rest of the world? I would love to go back and experience Christmas in the early years of our country and see how much joy the simplier times brought. I hope everone has a blessed day! Love, Tina

I am buying gifts this year for my kids and my niece and that's it - one a piece. We are headed to the mountains to spend quality time with family making lots of great memories and I can't wait. No stress from shopping. No worrying about will she like this or what can I possibly get him? Just have fun together. Other people will receive something I made that comes from the heart. Baking goodies and homemade gifts!
A STRESS FREE HOLIDAY!!!
