Autumn Blessings

The beauty of each season is beyond description but the magic of autumn is the most breathtaking to me. The sky here in Tennessee is the most gorgeous blue you will ever see and the smell and crispness of the air is invigorating. While these blessings are what most people think of, the ones that mean the most to me are not seen per say,but felt. The feeling of walking a little slower. Enjoying a bit more time to be with family. Reconnecting. Autumn is a time of reflection. To evaluate the year that is passing quickly and to plan and anticipate the coming of all the holidays. Take time and slow down. Make a difference in someones life. Tell your family that you love them and that nothing is more important than they are. Remember the most important things in life aren't things!

I feel the same way about Autumn. A "new year" for me never really begins Jan. 1 but Sept. 1. I love the cooler temps, changing leaves and warm dinners spent together.
