Monday on the homestead

Posted in Homestead News

We had a great week-end. It was VERY busy but we enjoyed it. I can't believe that April is almost over. Our garden has been ready to plant but we haven't got anything in it yet. I'm glad that we didn't get around to it because of the cold snap that happened last week.I will make it a priority now though beacause time is fleeting! This week will be busy with the usual things and a few extra  activities and meetings. I know I keep on bringing up the fact that Chad is graduating  but that is taking up all my extra time and funds. I will be happy when May is over. We are trying to enjoy each  banquet, activity, etc... though. We had a large get together over here on Saturday night for all of his friends and  that went really well. We have alot of left overs. Terry really worked hard  to get everything ready outside and my mom really worked with me on getting all the food prepared. I appreciate them so much!

Last night we went with the youth at church to another congregation  for a singing and fellowship. It was really nice. I love to be with my kids! Terry and I think it is so important  to be involved  physically in every  activity possible.  I hope they appreciate it when they are older. I'm sure they will. When we got home Terry and I watched a little bit television. We like to watch the outdoor  shows about deer hunting  and things like that. We couldn't keep our eyes open so we went on to bed. I am so thankful that we have so much in common. I couldn't imagine living with someone that you didn't share the same interests with. Well, Monday is getting away from me so I better get off here and get busy. Have a great day. Love, Tina
