Sunday on the Homestead

This has been an unusual week-end. My hubby and son have been sick all week and finally starting to feel better but still trying to take it easy. I have really missed them not being themselves. I feel as if I have ran circles all week-end  and not really gotten anything done. The weather was cold and windy so we didn't spend much time outside. I am looking foreward to spring and being outside more. This time of year everyone starts to get cabin fever and a little depresssed over the lack of sunshine. I hope everything will get back to normal soon. Neverthelesss I am still very thankful for all the blessings I have been given and for my very full and fruitful life here on the homestead. Time to get back in the groove of things though. Things I am going to do this week:

Bake bread

Freeze some loaves of quick bread

Take clothes to goodwill (after I clean out closets and drawers) AGAIN

Buy some plastic storage canisters for my pantry

Thats all the extra stuff  on top of the usual things that I do on a daily basis. Like ummm let's see LAUNDRY,LAUNDRY,LAUNDRY! LOL

I think one of the reasons I feel  like I'm getting very little accomplished is because we have a new puppy that we are trying to housebreak. So I guess all I am doing is  picking up piles and smelling around! We have had several dogs here on the farm but this one we are trying to make an inside dog. I hope it all pays off. Well I better get to bed  and get rested up for another  fun week! Count your blessings!

Love, Tina

Hope you get caught up this week! I have bread baking on the agenda here too! What kind of dogs do you have? A friend of mine has a dog who may be pg and I may like to get a puppy. I may like it to be an outside dog. Any tips on having outside dogs? Good luck with the housebreaking!
