Chickens and the cold weather
Proverbs 31:27 She watches over the ways of her household and eats not the bread of idleness  It's freezing here but my chickens are still giving me a Dozen eggs a day. I'm not complaining. Which reminds me I haven't gathered eggs today so I better get to the coop!

A lady at my church gave me a dozen eggs from her chickens on the weekend. This was a real blessing as I was able to bake today, cake, quiche... yummy.

I have 12 hens and 2 roosters. They are brown egg layers. Fresh eggs are the best
