Shame on me!I'm truly embarrassed to see that I have been away from my little blog for 2 years! So much has happened with our family so I'll give a quick run-down.
Taken a few months ago...at Hemisphere Park in San AntonioMy children are growing healthy and strong. They are not the best of friends most of the time, but that may be the age? I hope anyway.
Business
My husband and I have opened a fitness/self defense gym in San Antonio. We love it, but it sure is a lot of work. I'm the catch-all for business affairs, (web designer, marketing, enrollments, overall assistant). We've been trying to keep a balance, but with my husband still working his full time job during the day it can be very hectic. As soon as he's done with work, we go over to our gym and spend most evenings over there.
Backyard Chickens?!
I went through a very serious phase of trying to figure out how to get chickens in our city, (we do not live in San Antonio). I think I will never get over wanting to have a little homestead. Right after that I got super-busy with business related tasks, so the chickens will have to wait. Hopefully soon, we'll either move to the country or we'll be knocking on city halls doors.
My first loaves of bread made with freshly ground flour - flop, but I'll get it!Healthy Eating
We're getting back into eating healthy which can be a challenge at times for my kids, (they got used to more convenience foods - I know they're taste buds will adjust and they'll thank me some day). Many things are changing around my home and I hope to be blogging more often with all the neat things we're doing.
