Tuesday on the Homestead

Good Tuesday Morning my friends!!!

It looks to be yet another lovely day... no rain still, but none the less lovely.  I plan on getting a large pot of beef stew going here in a few minutes, and per request of the children... ham and cheese eggs for breakfast!
I want to make a few more loaves of the wonderful pumpkin bread that my friend Gloria posted on her blog the other day.  I have already made it once and it is terrific.
School is planned as usual, Cameo wants to make their horse lapbook today... Maybe... we will see, I am thinking of leaving it till Thursday when I am caught up a little more.  I also have to do something with all my peppers!  I can't let them go to waste! So I plan on pickling some more, I think they will make nice presents for some of our Sunday School teachers! They are beautifully red and green, and with a little ribbon on top will be very pretty!
Christmas is 3 months away!!!!
Can you believe that?  I have started Christmas shopping.. and Christmas crafting... I still have MUCH to do!
I also decorate for Christmas around the first week of November, so I have to begin preparing the house for that too!!  I love how the house looks when decorated for Christmas! I love the smells, the sights, the sounds.... ahhh, it does make me excited thinking of it!
Have a great day everyone!

Ahhh Christmas!

It WILL be here before we know it! I bet your home looks so cozy and festive all decorated for the season. I can't wait to see pics. I decorated early, too. The picture I posted yesterday was one that I took--but it's not our farm. It's from southern Ohio. The view was just too lovely not to capture. Have a wonderful day my friend!
