I live in an itty bitty country town in NE Central Victoria, Australia. It is the most beautiful spot and I find myself continuously thanking the Lord for placing me here. We are very blessed.
This afternoon, dh and 3 of our children took our 2 dogs down the creek for a bit of a paddle in the cool, clear water. We're having a lovely cool break in the weather at the moment but it's still warm enough for shorts, t-shirts and splashing about. The dogs absolutely love the creek and so do the youngest of our 7 children. I forgot to take my camera as we often do things like this but I never think to record these moments. One of the wonderful things about having a blog is taking the time to record these special moments not only for fellow bloggers and/or friends to read, but also as a reminder of how important it is to record the 'little' things in our lives today for our family members to reflect on in the future.
My 7 yo son and I collected a few cicada shells. I've never seen them complete with wings before. Jack (7 yo) just loved them.
